Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the game:

• Account details: email address, username, a one-way hash of your password (we never store it in plain text), language preference and email verification status.
• Game data: your villages, troop and trade movements, reports, clan memberships, in-game messages and forum posts.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser information (user agent) when you sign in, plus sign-in and last activity times. We use these to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
• Referral data: if you arrived through an invitation link, your new account is linked to the inviting account.

How we use it

In-game messages, forum posts and player reports may be viewed by authorised moderators to prevent profanity, insults, harassment and rule breaking and to review reports. When you report content, a copy of it as it was at that moment is kept with the report; the reported player never sees who reported them.

We use your information to run the game, protect your account, detect cheating and abuse, verify your email address and send game notifications (for example new world launches or full warehouses). We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies keep you signed in and make the game work: session cookies (woj_access, woj_refresh), language and list preferences (woj_locale, woj_page_size), a referral code (woj_ref, 30 days) and trial/onboarding cookies (woj_trial, woj_onboarding). Some interface preferences, such as the map view, are kept in your browser's local storage.

Analytics only runs if you allow it in the "Privacy preferences" window, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.

Advertising

This site shows Google AdSense ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see Google's consent message before advertising cookies are used.

Ads are never placed on gameplay screens; they appear only at the bottom of some pages and are labelled "Advertisement".

Service providers

We rely on these providers to run the game and share data with them only for that purpose:

• Hetzner Online GmbH: server and database hosting.
• Cloudflare: domain, content delivery and attack protection.
• Zoho ZeptoMail: sending verification and notification emails.
• Google: AdSense advertising and, with your permission, analytics.

Retention

Account and game data are kept while your account is open. Expired sessions become invalid. Database backups taken for safety are kept for a limited time. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your information except records we are legally required to keep.

Your rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing and receive a copy of it. Send your request to [email protected] from the email address registered to your account.

Children

War of Justice is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
